Celebrating our International Partners on our 25th Anniversary: Agência Riff (Brazil)

In 2017 we are celebrating the 25 th anniversary of our founding. From the very beginning, Berrett-Koehler books have been widely translated to many different languages and wonderfully received all over the world. Over the years, we have signed over two thousand foreign translation rights deals. We could not have done this without the tireless work of our translation rights agents around the globe. As part of our year-long celebration, we will be featuring one of these foreign partners every month.  We asked each of them to provide us with a few words describing their experiences working with BK.

In August it's our great pleasure to feature our Brazilian representatives, The Riff Agency. Well over 15 years ago we were honored to be added to their foreign clients list. Brazil has been one of our most challeging markets, with some drastic swings in the economy. The one thing that has remained constant and steadfast over the years is the strong commitment of the Riff team to the Berrett-Koehler list. We are very grateful for all their support and great work!  Here is what they wrote to us:

Congratulations to Berrett-Koehler on the 25 years of great service in the Publishing industry! It’s been an honor and a pleasure working with Maria Jesus and Catherine over the years, helping to bring more than 100 of BK’s amazing titles to Brazilian readers. As we reach our own 26th anniversary, we’re happy to celebrate this successful partnership that’s seen all the joys and challenges of the Brazilian market, with a true rollercoaster of emotions. 

We look forward to the next 25 years of our combined effort to create a world that works for all.
