read more...Richard is a founding partner of 3 Gaps. Prior to his association with 3 Gaps he founded, with Hyrum Smith, The Galileo Initiative, a consulting group focused on bringing the principles of The Reality Model to successful organizational cultures. Richard began his career at Franklin Covey, where he worked for more than a decade as a Senior International Consultant. While at Franklin, Richard was recognized as The Consultant with Greatest Value to Clients.
Richard’s education is in behavioral and cognitive psychology. He attended Brigham Young University and The University of Waterloo, in Canada.
He has both written and ghostwritten a number of books on topics as diverse as leading global organizations, customer service, creating a learning organization, how to speak and teach effectively, executive coaching, integrating technology solutions into global learning platforms and, surprisingly, early American history. He is the co-author of The 3 Gaps—Are You Making A Difference? Richard is currently engaged in co-writing a series of new books based on the 3 Gaps principles and platform.
When he is not writing or speaking Richard and his wife Heather enjoy time together caring for their bees, gardening, hiking, camping, hunting, traveling and spending time with their children.
Richard and Heather make their home in Salt Lake City, Utah.
